ELECTRONICS
Department of Electronics
The Department of Electronics is responsible for imparting
training to various courses in all aspects of Armament Electronics.
For effective training, the Department is divided into three
major departments, viz. Microwave, Microprocessor and embedded
system and communication Engineering. Each of these departments
are having laboratory facilities set up to augment the classroom
teaching as well as to enable the Department members to pursue
research activities in their areas of interest..

Areas Of Project/ Research Work
The Department, along with student officers undertakes the project
work, which is of the interest to Three Services as well as
DRDO. The projects/research works are being undertaken in the
following fields :-
- Microcontrollers & Microprocessors
- Microwave Components and Antennas
- Communication Engineering
- VLSI Designing
The Department conducts Short term courses on EMI/EMC every
year. In addition The Electronics Stream of one important
training program POST INDUCTION TRANING SCHOOL (POINTS) for
freshly recruited Scientists ‘B’ s is co-ordinated
by this Department.
Post Graduate Students from Local Engg. Colleges & Universities
do their M.E/MTech Dissertation work under the guidance of
the Department staff.
