 Naval Department conducts PG Programmes and long/short Courses for Officers of Indian Navy, Coast Guard, Ordnance, DRDO and friendly foreign countries viz., M. Tech - Mechanical Engineering (Marine) / (AMEC); M. Tech - Electronic Engineering (Signal Processing) / (ANWSEC); Naval Technical Staff Course (NTSC) / (TSOC (Navy); MPCTC; NW & MTC; UWIC; GWIC; INASOFC; Joint EMI/EMC Course. In addition to above, the department also undertakes instructional duties for following: M. Tech programmes conducted by other departments; Ph. D Students; POINTS Courses; TSOC (Army) and TSOC (Air Force); IOFS. The Department also undertakes teaching and research for postgraduate including Ph. D level in the areas of Signal Processing and Communication, Marine Engineering and Naval Armament. Short Courses/workshops/conferences are conducted by the department regularly for disseminating new knowledge among participants from various organizations.
