Controller of Examinations |
The role of the office of Controller of Examinations is to conduct fair and timely examinations (as per the academic calendar of the University) for the M.Tech/ MS (by research) / PhD students registered with University, appoint examiners for setting of Question papers and evaluation for theory courses, Constitution of Oral Examination Committee(OEC) for M.Tech thesis evaluation, processing of PhD thesis for evaluation and viva-voce, compilation of Marks, timely declaration of results after approval by Result Review Committee(RRC), issue of marks statements, presentation of results analysis report before Academic Council for its approval for award of degree to the qualified M.Tech/ MS (by research) / PhD candidates during convocation every year. In addition, setting of guidelines for examination and evaluation, amendment of the guidelines from time to time, ensuring strict adherence of guidelines by faculty and answerable to Vice Chancellor for all examination and evaluation related issues as one of the functionaries of DIAT(DU).
