(Brief Description / Abstract) :

Dr. Ajay Misra obtained his  B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Kanpur, M.Tech in Computer Science from IIT Bombay, and Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Kanpur.  Dr. Ajay Misra Joined as Associate Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering, DIAT (DU), Pune in the year 2015. Presently he is head of the Department of Aerospace Engineering. Before joining the DIAT (DU), he steered the Flight Lab Department of Aerospace engineering at IIT Kanpur. He started his career by joining DRDO Integrated Test Range in Chandipur. He has also worked as a software consultant in the USA for various firms handling large databases. His research focus lies in the areas of Flight Parameter Estimation, High angle of attack aerodynamics, and Flight Mechanics.
